P+F - Harp

Here I am, alive and well. Still battling with post M*A*S*H funk (it's hard obsessing over something you cannot draw for the life of you) and upcoming exams so I'm still slow as all hell, but lo! A piece about Heinz that I actually like .

The good Doctor needs more moments of being awesome, so this sort of developed out of me wanting to draw someone playing the harmonica. Make up the story as you will- I love when people talk about possible backstories to this stuff.

I think one reason for all the uncharacteristically bishie-Doofs out there is that his hair is actually really hard to draw in any sort of semi-realistic style without looking ridiculous. He always ends up with floppy messy hair rather than his sort of reverse-bald-patch. I try to age him up and hollow him out to make up for it, but he's still pretty youthful-looking.

Annoyingly, at that angle a harmonica would be hidden by the hands, so it looks like he's just a-blowin' into his fist. No matter, eh?
